PFC Jon Ross Townsend, 19, from Claremore, OK, served in the U.S. Army's 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment and died in Spin Murani, Afghanistan on September 16, 2012.

Sgt. Bradley Wayne Atwell, 27, of Kokomo, Indiana, was a U.S. Marine with MALS-13, MAG-13. He died in a hostile attack at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, on September 15, 2012.

Lt. Col. Christopher Keith Raible, 40, of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, was a U.S. Marine Corps officer with Marine Attack Squadron 211. He was killed in a Taliban attack on Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, on September 15, 2012.
