U.S. Army Specialist Terry Kishaun Gordon, 22, of Shubuta, Mississippi, was killed in a helicopter crash in Now Bahar, Afghanistan, on December 18, 2013.

Chief Warrant Officer 2 Joshua Benjamin Silverman, 35, of Scottsdale, Arizona, was a U.S. Army helicopter pilot assigned to Company B, 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment. He died in a helicopter crash in Now Bahar, Afgh

Chief Warrant Officer 2 Randy Lee Billings, 34, of Heavener, Oklahoma, was a U.S. Army helicopter pilot. He was killed in action on December 17, 2013, when his AH-64 Apache was shot down in Now Bahar, Afghanistan.

Petty Officer First Class James Lee Smith, 38, of Spring, Texas, was a U.S. Navy Seabee assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 28. He died on December 11, 2013, from wounds sustained in Afghanistan.
