Sgt. Bradley Wayne Atwell, 27, of Kokomo, Indiana, was a U.S. Marine with MALS-13, MAG-13. He died in a hostile attack at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, on September 15, 2012.

Lt. Col. Christopher Keith Raible, 40, of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, was a U.S. Marine Corps officer with Marine Attack Squadron 211. He was killed in a Taliban attack on Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, on September 15, 2012.

U.S. Army Sergeant Kyle Bruce Osborn, 26, of Lafayette, Indiana, was killed in a hostile incident on September 13, 2012, in Muqer, Afghanistan.

Master Sergeant Teresa Michelle Snow, 39, of Plattsburgh, New York, was a U.S. Marine serving with the Wounded Warrior Battalion-East, Bethesda, Maryland. She died on September 13, 2012, in Springville, United States, during Operation Endur

Jose Luis Montenegro Jr., 31, was a Chief Warrant Officer 2 from Houston, Texas, serving with the U.S. Army. He died on September 5, 2012, in Pul-e Alam, Afghanistan, from hostile action.

Chief Warrant Officer 2 Thalia Suzanne Ramirez, 28, of San Antonio, Texas, was a U.S. Army helicopter pilot. She was killed in a helicopter crash in Pul-e Alam, Afghanistan, on September 5, 2012.

In HELMAND PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN on September 3, 2012, the MARINE CORPS lost LCPL Terwiske, Alec Robert of DUBOIS, IN, 21, serving with I-I STAFF, (1ST CEB, 1ST MAR DIV, I MEF FWD), 4TH TANK BN, FORT KNOX, KY. Cause: HOSTILE.

U.S. Army Specialist Kyle Robert Rookey, 23, of Oswego, New York, served with Company B, 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, based at Fort Carson, Colorado. He died on September 2, 2012, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

Staff Sergeant Jeremie Shane Border, 28, of Mesquite, Texas, was a U.S. Army Special Forces soldier. He was killed in Batur Village, Afghanistan, on September 1, 2012.

Staff Sergeant Jonathan Philip Schmidt, 28, of Petersburg, Virginia, was an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician assigned to the 767th Ordnance Company, 192nd Ordnance Battalion, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He died in Batur Villa

U.S. Army Private First Class Shane William Cantu, 20, of Corunna, Michigan, was killed in a hostile incident in Chark-e, Afghanistan, on August 28, 2012.

U.S. Army Specialist Mabry James Anders, 21, of Baker City, Oregon, died on August 27, 2012, in Kalagush, Afghanistan, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Christopher James Birdwell, 25, of Windsor, Colorado, was killed in a hostile incident in Kalagush, Afghanistan, on August 27, 2012.

At 42, SSG Wing, Jessica Marie of BOWDOINHAM, ME was serving with the ARMY, COMPANY C, 1ST BATTALION, 126TH AVIATION REGIMENT, 521ST TROOP COMMAND, BANGOR, ME, when she died in KUWAIT CITY, KUWAIT on August 27, 2012.
