Petty Officer Third Class Denis Miranda, 24, of Toms River, New Jersey, was a U.S. Navy SEAL assigned to SEAL Team Four. He was killed in action in Qalat, Afghanistan, on September 21, 2010.

Staff Sergeant Joshua David Powell, 25, of New Berlin, Illinois, was a U.S. Army soldier serving with the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade. He was killed in action on September 21, 2010, in Qalat, Afghanistan.

Petty Officer Second Class Adam Olin Smith, 26, of Hurdland, Missouri, was a U.S. Navy SEAL assigned to SEAL Team Four. He was killed in action on September 21, 2010, in Ayatalah Village, Afghanistan.

Lance Corporal Joshua Scott Ose, 19, of Hernando, Mississippi, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on September 20, 2010.

U.S. Army Major Paul Douglas Carron, 33, of Union, Missouri, was killed by an IED on September 18, 2010, while on patrol in Qalat, Afghanistan.
