Staff Sergeant Marek Andrzej Soja, 30, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was a U.S. Army Special Operations soldier assigned to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He died on June 12, 2013, in Manda Bay, Kenya.

On June 10, 2013, the ARMY lost SSG Thomas, Jesse Lamar Jr of PENSACOLA, FL in HELMAND, AFGHANISTAN. He was 31.
