Sgt. Christopher Drew Gailey, 26, of Ochelata, Oklahoma, served with the Oklahoma Army National Guard. He was killed in a hostile incident in Lajahahmadkhel, Paktia province, Afghanistan, on November 1, 2011.

Staff Sergeant Ari Richard Cullers, 28, of New London, Connecticut, was killed in a hostile incident in Ghariban, Afghanistan, on October 30, 2011.

U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel David Elliot Cabrera, 41, of Abilene, Texas, was killed by hostile action at Forward Operating Base Julian in Afghanistan on October 29, 2011.

U.S. Army Sergeant James Michael Darrough, 38, of Austin, Texas, died in Bagram, Afghanistan on October 29, 2011.

U.S. Army Sergeant Carlo Francisco Eugenio, 29, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, was killed on October 29, 2011, in Bagram, Afghanistan.

Captain Shawn Patrick Charles, 40, of Hickory, North Carolina, was a U.S. Army officer serving with the 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment. He died on October 23, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas.

Lance Cpl. Jordan Stephen Bastean, 19, of Pekin, Illinois, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on October 23, 2011.
