Staff Sergeant Stephen Joel Dunning, 31, of Milpitas, California, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on October 27, 2011.

U.S. Army Sergeant John Alden Lyons, 26, of Seaside Park, New Jersey, died on October 26, 2011, in Ghazni province, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class David Gregory Robinson, 28, of Winthrop, Illinois, was killed in action on October 25, 2011, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
