Active Duty, ARMY, 209TH MILITARY INTELLIGENCE COMPANY, 3RD BRIGADE COMBAT TEAM, 2 ID, FORT LEWIS, WA, SSG Tirador, Amy Catherine of ALBANY, NY, 29, died in FOB CALDWELL, IRAQ on November 4, 2009.

In AL KUT, IRAQ on November 2, 2009, the ARMY lost SPC Sylvestre, Jonathon Matthew of COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, 21, serving with BATTERY B, 1ST BATTALION, 10TH FIELD ARTILLERY, FORT BENNING, GEORGIA.

Sgt. Cesar Bocanegra Ruiz, 26, of San Antonio, Texas, was a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve serviceman assigned to the Deployed Processing Command, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. He was killed in action in Afghanistan on October 31, 2009.

SGT Cooper, Christopher Michael, 28, a native of OCEANSIDE, CA, died serving in the Active Duty, ARMY, COMPANY B, 2ND BATTALION, 28TH INFANTRY REGIMENT, 172ND INFANTRY BRIGADE, SCHWEINFURT, GERMANY, during Operation Iraqi Freedom on October 30, 2009.

SPC Hopper, Lukas Caleb, 20, a native of MERCED, CA, died serving in the Active Duty, ARMY, D CO, 1-505 IN, 3BCT, 82ND DIV (TASK ORG TOMND-B), during Operation Iraqi Freedom on October 30, 2009.

SPC Adrian Ladon Avila, an American soldier from Opelika, Alabama, served with the 1343rd Chemical Company, 151st Chemical Battalion.

Cody Robert Stanley, 21, from Rosanky, TX, was a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. He died in Now Zad, Afghanistan, on October 28, 2009, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

At 39, SPC Gallegos, Joseph Lawrence of QUESTA, NM was serving with the ARMY, 720TH TRANSPORTATION COMPANY, 13TH EXPEDITIONARY SUPPORT COMMAND, LAS VEGAS, NM, when he died in TALLIL, IRAQ on October 28, 2009.

U.S. Army Private First Class Brian Russell Bates Jr., 20, of Gretna, Louisiana, died on October 27, 2009, in a hostile incident one kilometer north of Loy Kariz, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Specialist Robert Keith Charlton, 22, of Malden, Missouri, died on October 27, 2009, at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany from wounds sustained in Afghanistan.

Sgt. Fernando De La Rosa, 24, of Alamo, Texas, was a U.S. Army infantryman. He was killed in a hostile incident in Afghanistan's Arghandab River Valley on October 27, 2009.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Luis Manuel Gonzalez, 27, of South Ozone Park, New York, died on October 27, 2009, in Afghanistan's Arghandab Valley.

U.S. Army Sergeant Dale Russel Griffin, 29, of Terre Haute, Indiana, was killed by an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan's Arghandab River Valley on October 27, 2009.

U.S. Army Sergeant Issac Brandon Jackson, 27, of Plattsburg, Missouri, died on October 27, 2009, in the Arghandab Valley, Afghanistan, while serving with Company C, 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment.

Jared Donald Stanker, a 22-year-old U.S. Army Specialist from Evergreen Park, IL, died on October 27, 2009, in the Argandab River Valley, Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Christopher Ian Walz, a 25-year-old American soldier from Vancouver, WA, served in the U.S. Army's 5/2ID SBCT and died in Afghanistan's Arghandab River Valley on October 27, 2009.

Patrick Oliver Williamson, a 24-year-old sergeant from Broussard, LA, served in the U.S. Army and died in Afghanistan on October 27, 2009.

David Lawrence Audo, an American Major from Saint Joseph, IL, served in the Army's 22nd Military Police Battalion. He was 35 when he died in Baghdad, Iraq on October 27, 2009.
