U.S. Army Captain Joshua Michael McClimans, 30, of Jamestown, Ohio, was killed by hostile fire on April 22, 2011, at Forward Operating Base Salerno in Afghanistan.

Petty Officer Third Class Micah Aaron Hill, 27, of Ralston, Nebraska, was a U.S. Navy sailor assigned to the USS Enterprise (CVN 65). He died in Iraq on April 19, 2011, during Operation New Dawn.

U.S. Army Private First Class John Francis Kihm, 19, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was killed in action on April 19, 2011, in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Sergeant Sonny Jade Moses, 22, of Koror, Palau, died on April 18, 2011, in Landstuhl, Germany, from wounds sustained in a hostile incident in Afghanistan.

Sgt. Paul Jed Atim, 27, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, served with the U.S. Army's 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment. He was killed in action on April 17, 2011, in Ahmid-Khan, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Charles Lewis Adkins, 36, of Sandusky, Ohio, died on April 16, 2011, in a hostile attack in Gamberi, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Captain Timothy Shaun Anderson, 41, of Knoxville, Tennessee, was killed on April 16, 2011, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was assigned to the Warrior Transition Battalion at Fort Knox.
