U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Daniel Henery Petithory, 32, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, was killed in hostile action on December 5, 2001, in Khaneh Gerdab, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Brian Cody Prosser, 28, of Panorama City, California, was killed in hostile action on December 5, 2001, in Khaneh Gerdab, Afghanistan.

Michael Jamel Jakes Jr., 20, was an Electrician's Mate Fireman Apprentice in the U.S. Navy, assigned to the USS Kitty Hawk. He was killed in action on December 4, 2001, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Private Giovanny Maria, 19, of Camden, New Jersey, was a U.S. Army infantryman. He was killed in action in Afghanistan on November 29, 2001.

Bryant Leroy Davis, 20, was a Machinist's Mate Fireman from Chicago, Illinois, serving aboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). He was killed in action in the Arabian Sea on November 7, 2001.
