Lance Corporal Niall William Cotisears, a 23-year-old U.S. Marine from Arlington, Virginia, was killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on June 23, 2012.

Lance Cpl. Hunter Dalton Hogan, 21, of Norman, Indiana, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on June 23, 2012.

Lance Cpl. Eugene Clifton Mills III, 21, of Laurel, Maryland, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on June 22, 2012.

LCPL Steven Prince Stevens II, 23, from Tallahassee, FL, served in the Marine Corps and died in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, on June 22, 2012, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Paul Clarke Voelke, an American Army Major from Monroe, NY, was killed in action on June 22, 2012, in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan, at age 36.

U.S. Army Sergeant John David Meador II, 36, of Columbia, South Carolina, died on June 20, 2012, in Khost, Afghanistan, from hostile action while serving with the 133rd Military Police Company.

First Lieutenant Ryan Davis Rawl, 30, of Lexington, South Carolina, was killed in a hostile incident in Khowst City, Afghanistan, on June 20, 2012, while serving with the South Carolina Army National Guard.

SFC Matthew Bradford Thomas, 30, from Travelers Rest, SC, served with the 133rd Military Police Company and died in Khowst City, Afghanistan on June 20, 2012.

U.S. Army Sergeant Jose Rodriguez, 22, of Gustine, California, was killed in hostile action in Kandahar, Afghanistan, on June 19, 2012. He was assigned to Company A, 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team.

U.S. Army Specialist Jarrod Allen Lallier, 20, of Spokane, Washington, was killed in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, on June 18, 2012.

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Nicholas Charles Fredsti, 30, of San Diego, California, was killed in Ghazni, Afghanistan on June 15, 2012, while serving with the 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment.
