Joshua Adam Throckmorton, 28, a native of Battle Creek, MI, served in the 527th Military Police Company. He died on July 5, 2011, in Afghanistan.

Staff Sergeant Michael Jonathan Garcia, 27, of Bossier City, Louisiana, was killed in a hostile incident at Forward Operating Base Shank, Afghanistan, on July 4, 2011.

James Allen Waters, 21, an American soldier from Cloverdale, IN, served in the U.S. Army and died on July 1, 2011, during Operation Enduring Freedom in Sartak, Afghanistan.

Sgt. Chad Dennis Frokjer, 27, of Maplewood, Minnesota, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on June 30, 2011.

Corporal Kyle Richard Schneider, 23, of Phoenix, New York, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on June 30, 2011, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Captain Matthew Gunnar Nielson, 27, of Jefferson, Iowa, was a U.S. Army officer serving with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. He died in a hostile incident in Al Kut, Iraq, on June 29, 2011.

U.S. Army Sergeant Robert Gregory Tenney Jr., 29, of Warner Robins, Georgia, died on June 29, 2011, in Al Kut, Iraq, from hostile action.

Captain David Edward Vancamp, 29, of Wheeling, West Virginia, was a U.S. Army officer assigned to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. He died on June 29, 2011, in Al Kut, Iraq, from hostile action.

Lance Corporal John Felix Farias, 20, of New Braunfels, Texas, was a U.S. Marine with 1st Battalion, 5th Marines. He died on June 28, 2011, in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

Corporal Mark Raymond Goyet, 22, of Sinton, Texas, was a U.S. Marine who died on June 28, 2011, in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

Donald Vincent Stacy, an American soldier from Avondale, AZ, served as a Staff Sergeant in the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He died on June 28, 2011, in KAF ROLE III, Afghanistan.
