Maj. John David Gerrie, 43, of Nickerson, Kansas, was a U.S. Air Force officer serving with the 453rd Electronic Warfare Squadron. He died on January 16, 2016, at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Matthew Quinn McClintock, 30, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was killed by small-arms fire on January 5, 2016, in the Marjah District of Afghanistan.

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Louis Michael Bonacasa, 31, of Coram, New York, was killed on December 21, 2015, in a suicide bombing near Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

Staff Sgt. Michael Anthony Cinco, 28, of Mercedes, Texas, was an active-duty U.S. Air Force investigator killed in a suicide bombing in Bajawri village, Afghanistan, on December 21, 2015.

Technical Sergeant Joseph Gerard Lemm, 45, of the New York Air National Guard's 105th Security Forces Squadron, was killed in a suicide bombing in Bajawri Village, Afghanistan, on December 21, 2015.

Staff Sgt. Chester Jamicheal Mcbride, 30, of Statesboro, Georgia, was a U.S. Air Force investigator killed in a hostile incident in Bajawri Village, Afghanistan, on December 21, 2015.

U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Gregory Thomas Kuhse, 38, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was killed in action in Kabul, Afghanistan, on October 11, 2015.
