Chief Petty Officer Matthew David Mason, 37, of Holt, Missouri, was a U.S. Navy SEAL assigned to a Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU). He was killed in Wardak province, Afghanistan, on August 6, 2011.

Stephen Matthew Mills, a 35-year-old U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer from Fort Worth, Texas, was killed in Wardak province, Afghanistan, on August 6, 2011.

Bryan Joseph Nichols was a 31-year-old Chief Warrant Officer 2 from Hays, Kansas, serving with Company B, 7th Battalion, 158th Aviation Regiment. He died on August 6, 2011, at Combat Outpost Sayed Abad, Afghanistan.

Chief Petty Officer Nicholas Heath Null, 30, of Washington, West Virginia, was a U.S. Navy sailor assigned to Naval Special Warfare Development Group. He died in Wardak Province, Afghanistan, on August 6, 2011.

Sgt. Daniel James Patron, 26, of Canton, Ohio, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on August 6, 2011.

Petty Officer 1st Class Jesse Daryl Pittman, 27, of Ukiah, California, was a U.S. Navy SEAL. He was killed in Wardak province, Afghanistan, on August 6, 2011.

Senior Chief Petty Officer Thomas Arthur Ratzlaff, 34, was a U.S. Navy SEAL assigned to Naval Special Warfare Development Group. He was killed on August 6, 2011, when his helicopter was shot down in Wardak province, Afghanistan.

Senior Chief Petty Officer Robert James Reeves, 32, of Shreveport, Louisiana, was a U.S. Navy SEAL. He was killed in Wardak province, Afghanistan, on August 6, 2011.

Senior Chief Petty Officer Heath Michael Robinson, 34, of Boyne Falls, Michigan, was a U.S. Navy SEAL assigned to Naval Special Warfare Development Group. He died in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Petty Officer Second Class Nicholas Patrick Spehar, 24, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, was a U.S. Navy sailor serving with DEVGRU. He died in Wardak province, Afghanistan, on August 6, 2011, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

PO1 Strange, Michael Joseph, 25, a native of PHILADELPHIA, PA, died serving in the Active Duty, NAVY, DEVGROUP, during Operation Enduring Freedom on August 6, 2011. Cause: HOSTILE.

From ROCKFORD, IA, CPO Tumilson, Jon Thomas served with the NAVY, DEVGROUP, and died on August 6, 2011 in WARDAK PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN. He was 35. Cause: HOSTILE.

CPO Vaughn, Aaron Carson, 30, a native of STUART, FL, died serving in the Active Duty, NAVY, DEVGROUP, during Operation Enduring Freedom on August 6, 2011. Cause: HOSTILE.

U.S. Army Specialist Mark Jordon Downer, 23, of Warner Robins, Georgia, died on August 5, 2011, in Sangsar, Afghanistan, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Sgt. Daniel David Gurr, 21, of Vernal, Utah, was a U.S. Marine with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion. He died on August 5, 2011, in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
