Kraig Michael Kaleolani Vickers, a 36-year-old American combatant from Kokomo, HI, served with the Navy's DEVGROUP. He died on August 6, 2011, in Wardak Province, Afghanistan.

Jason Ray Workman, an American Navy SEAL from Blanding, Utah, died at age 32 in Wardak Province, Afghanistan, on August 6, 2011, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

TSGT Daniel Lee Zerbe, 28, from York, PA, served in the USAF's 24th Special Tactics Squadron and died on August 6, 2011, in Tangi Valley, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Specialist Mark Jordon Downer, 23, of Warner Robins, Georgia, died on August 5, 2011, in Sangsar, Afghanistan, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Sgt. Daniel David Gurr, 21, of Vernal, Utah, was a U.S. Marine with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion. He died on August 5, 2011, in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Specialist Jinsu Lee, 34, of Chatsworth, California, was killed in action on August 5, 2011, at Forward Operating Base Bostick, Afghanistan.

Captain Waid Charles Ramsey, 41, of Red Bay, Alabama, was a U.S. Army National Guard soldier serving with the 20th Special Forces Group. He died on August 4, 2011, at Forward Operating Base Orgun-E, Afghanistan, from hostile action.
