Senior Airman Julian Seiji Scholten, 26, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, served as an active duty Airman with the 25th Intelligence Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Florida. He died on February 18, 2012, near Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.

On February 18, 2012, the AIR FORCE lost CAPT Whitlock, Nicholas Schade of NEWNAN, GA in NEAR CAMP LEMONNIER, DJIBOUTI. He was 29.

34TH SPECIAL OPERATIONS SQUADRON, HURLBURT FIELD, FL, AIR FORCE ? 1STLT Wilkens, Justin James (BEND, OR), age 26, ? died in CAMP LEMONNIER, DJIBOUTI on February 18, 2012.

Petty Officer First Class Paris Shawn Pough, 40, of Columbus, Georgia, was a U.S. Navy sailor assigned to the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). He died on February 17, 2012, in Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates.

Staff Sergeant Jerry Don Reed II, 30, of Russellville, Arkansas, was killed in action on February 16, 2012, at Forward Operating Base Sharana in Paktika Province, Afghanistan.

Petty Officer Third Class Kyler Lavon Estrada, 21, of Queen Creek, Arizona, was a U.S. Navy sailor killed in action in Djibouti, Djibouti, on February 14, 2012.

U.S. Army Private First Class Cesar Cortez, 24, of Oceanside, California, died on February 11, 2012, in Sitra, Bahrain, while serving in Operation Enduring Freedom.

Lance Cpl. Osbrany Montes De Oca, 20, of North Arlington, New Jersey, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on February 10, 2012.
