Chief Petty Officer Jason Richard Freiwald, a 30-year-old U.S. Navy SEAL from Armada, Michigan, was killed in a hostile incident at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, on September 12, 2008.

Senior Chief Petty Officer John Wayne Marcum, 34, of Flushing, Michigan, was a U.S. Navy SEAL killed in a hostile incident in Bagram, Afghanistan, on September 12, 2008.

U.S. Army Private Michael Wayne Murdock, 22, of Chocowinity, North Carolina, was killed in a hostile incident at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, on September 11, 2008.

Chief Warrant Officer 4 Michael Slebodnik, 39, of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, was a U.S. Army aviator serving with Troop C, 2nd Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

SFC Sexton, Daniel Riley, 53, a native of WENTZVILLE, MO, died serving in the Active Duty, ARMY, 164TH MILITARY POLICE COMPANY, 728TH BATTALION, FORT RICHARDSON, AK, during Operation Iraqi Freedom on September 10, 2008.

U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Nicholas Aaron Madrazo, 25, of Bothell, Washington, was killed in a hostile incident in Bagram, Afghanistan, on September 9, 2008.

Capt. Jesse Melton III, 29, of Randallstown, Maryland, was a U.S. Marine killed in a roadside bomb attack in the Afghanya Valley, Afghanistan, on September 9, 2008.

Eichmann Antonio Strickland, a 23-year-old Navy PO3 from Arlington, WA, died in Afghanya Valley, Afghanistan on September 9, 2008 during Operation Enduring Freedom.
