Sergeant Anibal Jr Santiago, 37, of Belvidere, Illinois, served with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment (Airborne). He died in Bagram, Afghanistan, on July 18, 2010.

Staff Sergeant Justus Steven Joe Bartelt, 27, of Polo, Illinois, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on July 16, 2010.

Corporal Dave Michael Maliksi Santos, 21, of Rota, MP, was a U.S. Marine with 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines, based at Camp Lejeune, NC. He was killed in action in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on July 16, 2010.
