Their Story
Michael Edward Bouthot was serving as a Private Second Class in the U.S. Army with Company B, 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. On April 22, 2006, he lost his life in Baghdad, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom, a conflict initiated in March 2003.
