Their Story
Spc. Christopher Kermin Boone, a member of the National Guard serving in the U.S. Army, was part of Company H, 163rd Military Intelligence Battalion, 504th Military Intelligence Brigade based out of Fort Hood, Texas. Born in Augusta, Georgia, Boone's service in the military was marked by his dedication and commitment to his unit.
Boone was deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, a conflict that commenced on March 19, 2003, following a U.S.-led invasion.
