Private First Class Kyle Geoffrey Bohrnsen was a dedicated member of the United States Army, serving in Company C, 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, part of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team based at Fort Carson, Colorado. Born and raised in Phillipsburg, Montana, Bohrnsen joined the military as part of his commitment to serve his country.
On April 10, 2007, PFC Bohrnsen's life was tragically cut short during hostile action in Baghdad, Iraq. His death occurred amid Operation Iraqi Freedom, a conflict that spanned from March 2003 to August 2010 and involved significant military engagements in the region.
