Jeffery Edward Bohr, a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, hailed from the small town of Ossian, Iowa. Serving with the 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division, based at Camp Pendleton, California, Bohr fulfilled a critical role during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
