Private First Class Evan Abraham Bixler served with Company A, 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, part of the U.S. Army's 1st Armored Division. Originally hailing from Racine, Wisconsin, Bixler was stationed in Baumholder, Germany, before his deployment to Iraq.
Bixler's life was tragically cut short on December 24, 2006, during hostile action in Hit, Iraq, a city located in the embattled western Anbar Province. He was 21 years old at the time of his death.
