Lance Corporal Brent Edward Beeler, an American reservist, served with C Company, 1st Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, part of Regimental Combat Team-5, I Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), 4th Marine Division based in Lansing, Michigan. Born in Jackson, Michigan, Beeler was part of a long-standing tradition of military service.
On December 7, 2006, at the age of 22, Beeler was killed in Fallujah, Iraq.
