Trevor David Aston was a lance corporal in the United States Marine Corps, part of the Reserve Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division. Originally from Austin, Texas, Aston was deployed to Iraq amid the ongoing Operation Iraqi Freedom, a mission initiated in March 2003.
Serving in Haditha, a town in western Iraq, Aston was part of the coalition forces' efforts to stabilize the region. On February 22, 2005, at 32 years of age, Aston's life was tragically cut short in combat.
