Cpl. Bradley Thomas Arms was a young Marine from Charlottesville, Virginia, who served with the C Company, 4th Combat Engineer Battalion, part of the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 1, 1st Marine Division, based in Lynchburg, VA.
At the age of 20, Bradley Arms deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, a U.S.-led military operation that began in March 2003. This operation aimed to dismantle the regime of Saddam Hussein and establish a new government.
On November 19, 2004, Cpl. Arms lost his life in Fallujah, Iraq, during the intense combats of the Second Battle of Fallujah. This battle was part of a larger effort to stabilize the region, which faced significant insurgent activity.
