Private First Class Charlie Cabay Antonio, a native of Kahului, Hawaii, served with the United States Army's Company A, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. Based out of Fort Carson, Colorado, Antonio was deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, a conflict that began in March 2003.
