Jeremy Olin Allmon, an American Army Specialist from Cleburne, Texas, served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and died in hostile action on February 6, 2005, in Taji, Iraq.
Their Story
Jeremy Olin Allmon was born in the United States and grew up in Cleburne, Texas. He joined the U.S. Army as an active duty soldier, serving with C Company, 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division, part of Task Force Baghdad, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.
Specialist Allmon was deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the military campaign initiated in March 2003. This operation aimed to dismantle the regime in Iraq and establish a stable government.
On February 6, 2005, at the age of 22, SPC Allmon was killed in hostile action in Taji, a town north of Baghdad. His death was one among many losses suffered by the U.S. military during the conflict.
