Daniel Joseph Allman II was born and raised in Canon, Georgia. As a young man, he chose to serve his country and joined the United States Army. He was assigned as a Private First Class to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, based in Schweinfurt, Germany.
In 2006, PFC Allman was deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, which began in March 2003.
