Captain Paul Christopher Alaniz served with distinction in the United States Marine Corps. He was part of HMH 361, MAG 16, 3D MAW, stationed at MCAS Miramar, California. As a dedicated Marine, he was deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, a conflict that began in March 2003.
