Lance Cpl. Joe Michael Jackson, 22, of White Swan, Washington, was a U.S. Marine killed on April 24, 2011, in Bastion, Afghanistan.

Master Sergeant Benjamin Franklin Bitner, 37, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, was a U.S. Army Special Forces soldier. He died on April 23, 2011, at Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan, from hostile fire.

Sgt. Sean Timothy Callahan, 23, of Warrenton, Virginia, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on April 23, 2011.

Lance Cpl. Dominic John Ciaramitaro, 19, of South Lyon, Michigan, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on April 23, 2011.

Staff Sgt. James Alan Justice, 32, of Manning, Iowa, was a soldier with the Iowa Army National Guard. He was killed in a hostile incident in Sadiqan Village, Kapisa province, Afghanistan, on April 23, 2011.

U.S. Army Private First Class Antonio Guiseppi Stiggins, 25, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, died on April 22, 2011, in Al Kut, Iraq, during Operation New Dawn.

First Lieutenant Omar Justine Vazquez, 25, of Hamilton, New Jersey, was a U.S. Army officer killed in Al Kut, Iraq, on April 22, 2011.
