U.S. Army Specialist Zandra Terneice Walker, 28, of Greenville, South Carolina, was killed in a hostile incident in Taji, Iraq, on August 15, 2007.

U.S. Army Sergeant Clifton David Johnson, 24, of Ethelsville, Alabama, was killed in action on August 14, 2007, in Eilat, Egypt, while serving with the 1st Aviation Company, 1st Support Battalion.

From SANTEE, CA, SSG Fisher, Sean Paul served with the ARMY, COMPANY B, 1ST BATTALION, 52D AVIATION, FORT WAINWRIGHT, AK, and died on August 14, 2007 in TAQQADUM, IRAQ. He was 29.

CPL Hensel, Shawn David, 20, a native of LOGANSPORT, IN, died serving in the Active Duty, ARMY, COMPANY B, 2D BATTALION, 23D INFANTRY, FORT LEWIS, WA, during Operation Iraqi Freedom on August 14, 2007. Cause: HOSTILE.

SSG Cottrell, Eric Dwayne, 39, a native of PITTSVIEW, AL, died serving in the Active Duty, ARMY, BATTERY A, 5TH BATTALION, 82D FIELD ARTILLERY, FORT BLISS, TX, during Operation Iraqi Freedom on August 13, 2007. Cause: HOSTILE.

Sgt. Charles Bernard Kitowski III, 31, of Farmers Branch, Texas, was a U.S. Army Reserve soldier with the 345th Psychological Operations Company. He was killed in Kuzkala Khel, Afghanistan, on August 12, 2007.

Corporal Jordan Emil Goode, 21, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was a U.S. Army cavalry scout. He died on August 11, 2007, from hostile action at Forward Operating Base Salerno, Afghanistan.
