SPC Geoffrey Alexander Whitsitt, 21, from Taylors, SC, served in the US Army's 118th MP Company and died in Logar Province, Afghanistan on January 13, 2010.

Spc. Kyle James Wright, 22, from Romeoville, IL, served with Company A, 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry, 5 BCT, Fort Lewis, WA, and died in Kandahar, Afghanistan on January 13, 2010.

Staff Sergeant Matthew Nevin Ingham, 25, of Altoona, Pennsylvania, was a U.S. Marine serving with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion. He died on January 11, 2010, in Now Zad, Afghanistan.

Jamie Russel Lowe, a 21-year-old U.S. Marine corporal from Johnsonville, Illinois, died in a hostile incident in Nowzad, Afghanistan, on January 11, 2010.

CPL Nicholas Kelly Uzenski, 21, of Tomball, TX, served in the US Marine Corps 3D Recon BN and was killed in Nowzad, Afghanistan on January 11, 2010 during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Lance Cpl. Jacob Alexander Meinert, 20, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, was a U.S. Marine killed in a hostile incident in Bastion, Afghanistan, on January 10, 2010.

Lance Corporal Mark David Juarez, 23, of San Antonio, Texas, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on January 9, 2010.

Active Duty, ARMY, COMPANY C, WARRIOR TRANSITION UNIT, JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, TX, SGT Hopkins, Ryan Jeffrey of LIVERMORE, CA, 21, died in SAN ANTONIO, UNITED STATES on January 8, 2010.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Jason Omar Bradley Hickman, 35, of Kingsport, Tennessee, died on January 7, 2010, from hostile action at Forward Operating Base Salerno in Khost Province, Afghanistan.

PFC Jarrett, Michael Robert, 20, a native of NORTH PLATTE, NE, died serving in the Active Duty, ARMY, D CO, 2-159TH ATTACK RECONNAISSANCE BATTALION, 12TH CAB, ILLESHEIM, GERMANY, during Operation Iraqi Freedom on January 6, 2010.

From PLANT CITY, FL, SGT Croft, David Andrew Jr served with the ARMY, TROOP B, 1ST SQUADRON, 7TH CAVALRY, 1 BCT, FORT HOOD, TEXAS, and died on January 5, 2010 in BALAD, IRAQ. He was 22. Cause: HOSTILE.

U.S. Army Specialist Brian Robert Bowman, 24, of Crawfordsville, Indiana, died on January 3, 2010, in Ashoque, Afghanistan, from hostile action.

Private First Class John Phillip Dion, 19, of Shattuck, Oklahoma, was killed by enemy fire on January 3, 2010, in Ashoque, Afghanistan, while serving with the U.S. Army.

U.S. Army Sergeant Joshua Allen Lengstorf, 24, of Yoncalla, Oregon, died on January 3, 2010, in Ashoque, Afghanistan, from wounds sustained in a hostile incident.

Senior Airman Bradley Randall Smith, 24, of Troy, Illinois, served with the U.S. Air Force's 10th Air Support Operations Squadron. He was killed in hostile action on January 3, 2010, at Operating Location Wilson, Afghanistan.

SPC Brushaun Xaviour Anderson, an Army combatant from Columbus, GA, died at age 20 in Baghdad, Iraq on January 1, 2010, serving with Company C, 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry, 2 BCT.

Staff Sergeant Anton Ramesh Phillips, 31, of Inglewood, California, was a U.S. Army soldier killed in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, on December 31, 2009.

Staff Sergeant Ronald Jay Spino, 45, of Waterbury, Connecticut, served with the U.S. Army's 274th Forward Surgical Team in Afghanistan. He was killed in action in Herat province on December 29, 2009.
