Staff Sgt. Joseph D'Augustine, 29, of Waldwick, New Jersey, was a U.S. Marine killed by enemy small-arms fire in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on March 27, 2012.

SSG William Robert Wilson III, 27, from Getzville, NY, served in the US Army and died on March 26, 2012, in Dewana, Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Daniel Joseph Brown, 27, of Jerome, Idaho, was killed in a hostile incident in Arghandab, Afghanistan, on March 24, 2012.

Captain Aaron Dale Istre, 37, of Vinton, Louisiana, was a U.S. Army officer assigned to the 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary). He died in Bagram, Afghanistan, on March 24, 2012.

SGT Dennis Paul Weichel Jr, an American soldier from Providence, RI, died in action in Jalalabad, Afghanistan on March 22, 2012, at age 29.

Staff Sergeant Jamie Darrell Jarboe, 27, of Frankfort, Indiana, died on March 21, 2012, in Topeka, Kansas, from wounds sustained in hostile action in Afghanistan.

U.S. Army First Lieutenant Clovis Tim Ray, 34, of San Antonio, Texas, was killed in a hostile incident at Asadabad Airfield, Afghanistan, on March 15, 2012.

U.S. Army Specialist Daquane Demetris Rivers, 21, of Marianna, Florida, was killed in action on March 14, 2012, at Forward Operating Base Orgun-E, Afghanistan. He served with Company B, 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 172nd Infantry

Staff Sergeant Jesse James Grindey, 30, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, was a U.S. Army soldier killed in action on March 12, 2012, in Kandahar City, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Specialist Edward Joseph Acosta, 21, of Hesperia, California, died on March 5, 2012, in San Diego, California. He was assigned to the Warrior Transition Company at Balboa Naval Medical Center.

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Jordan Logan Bear, 25, of Denver, Colorado, died on March 1, 2012, in Zharay, Kandahar province, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Specialist Payton Alexander Jones, 19, of Marble Falls, Texas, was killed in a hostile incident at Combat Outpost Sangsar, Afghanistan, on March 1, 2012.

Corporal Conner Thomas Lowry, 24, of Chicago, Illinois, was a U.S. Marine killed in action on March 1, 2012, in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
