Jonathan Antonio Vega Yelner, a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force, was a member of the 28th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. Originally from Lafayette, California, Yelner was part of the force supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, a military campaign launched by the United States in October 2001.
