Their Story
Private First Class Jonathan Christopher Yanney served in the United States Army with HHC, 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry, 5th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, based at Fort Lewis, Washington. Originally from Litchfield, Minnesota, Yanney was deployed as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, a military operation initiated in October 2001.
