Their Story
Cpl. Kyle Weston Wilks served with the United States Marine Corps, attached to the Combat Logistics Battalion 24, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, part of the 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Born in Rogers, Arkansas, Wilks dedicated his service to his country, participating in multiple deployments.
Wilks was deployed to Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, a military campaign initiated on October 7, 2001, aimed at dismantling terrorist groups and establishing stability in the region.
