Tomlinson, Joshua Abram

Joshua Abram Tomlinson was born and raised in Dubberly, Louisiana. Choosing a path of service, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he was assigned to the Special Troops Battalion, V Corps, headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany. His commitment to his role was evident as he served his country during Operation Enduring Freedom, a mission initiated in October 2001 aimed at dismantling terrorist networks in Afghanistan.

On May 18, 2010, Sergeant Tomlinson was stationed in Darulaman, Kabul, an area marked by ongoing conflict. It was on this day that he lost his life under hostile circumstances, a reminder of the ever-present dangers faced by those in combat zones. His passing was recorded in the Defense Casualty Analysis System, marking another somber entry of sacrifice in the chronicles of military service.
