Born in Pago Pago, American Samoa, Jason Togi served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He was part of Company C, 2nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.
On August 26, 2013, at the age of 24, 1LT Togi was killed at Forward Operating Base Apache in Afghanistan. His death was recorded as a result of hostile action, a common risk faced by those deployed in conflict zones.
