Charles Luke Milam was a 26-year-old Petty Officer Second Class (PO2) in the United States Navy. He was from Littleton, Colorado, and was serving with the II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF) headquartered at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, at the time of his death.
Milam was killed on September 25, 2007, in Afghanistan. According to the Department of Defense, he died from wounds sustained while conducting combat operations in Kunar Province, a volatile region along the Pakistan border. He was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
