U.S. Army Specialist Christopher Michael Harris, 25, of Jackson Springs, North Carolina, was killed by enemy small arms fire on August 2, 2017, while on patrol in Kandahar province, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Sergeant Jonathon Michael Hunter, 23, of Columbus, Indiana, died on August 2, 2017 in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

David Andrew Board, 49, was a Technical Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force's 130th Maintenance Squadron. He died on August 2, 2017, at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.

Senior Chief Petty Officer Alonzo Evans, 44, of Haynesville, Louisiana, was a U.S. Navy sailor killed in Al Sayh, Bahrain, on July 17, 2017, while serving in Operation Inherent Resolve.

PFC Hansen Bradee Kirkpatrick, 19, of Wasilla, Alaska, died on July 3, 2017, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, while serving with the U.S. Army during Operation Freedom's Sentinel.

U.S. Army Sergeant Dillon Christopher Baldridge, 22, of Youngsville, North Carolina, died on June 10, 2017, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, from wounds sustained in a small-arms fire attack.

U.S. Army Sergeant William Marshall Bays, 29, of Barstow, California, died on June 10, 2017, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, from wounds sustained in a hostile incident while serving in Operation Freedom's Sentinel.

U.S. Army Sergeant Eric Michael Houck, 25, of Baltimore, Maryland, was killed in a hostile insider attack in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, on June 10, 2017.

U.S. Army Specialist Etienne Jules Murphy, 22, of Loganville, Georgia, was killed in action on May 26, 2017, in Al-Hasakah, Syria, during Operation Inherent Resolve.

Chief Petty Officer Kyle Jeffrey Milliken, 38, of Storrs, Connecticut, was a U.S. Navy SEAL assigned to Naval Special Warfare Tactical Development Squadron Five. He was killed in a raid against al-Shabaab militants in Somalia on May 5, 2017

U.S. Army First Lieutenant Weston Cecil Lee, 25, of Bluffton, Georgia, died in Erbil, Iraq, on April 29, 2017, from injuries sustained in a roadside bomb blast.

Sgt. Joshua Patrick Rodgers, 22, of Bloomington, Illinois, was a U.S. Army Ranger killed in action in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, on April 27, 2017.

U.S. Army Sergeant Cameron Harrison Thomas, 23, of Kettering, Ohio, was killed in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, on April 27, 2017, while serving with the 75th Ranger Regiment.

Carlos Mazon, 19, was a U.S. Navy Seaman from Chicago, Illinois. He was killed in action in Manama, Bahrain, on April 23, 2017, while serving with the Naval Security Force.

Staff Sgt. Curtis John Gardner, 29, of Tampa, Florida, was a U.S. Air Force security forces airman assigned to the 39th Security Forces Squadron. He was killed on April 10, 2017, at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey.

Staff Sgt. Mark Rochetto De Alencar, 37, of Edgewood, Maryland, was a U.S. Army Special Forces soldier. He was killed by enemy small-arms fire during a combat operation in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, on April 8, 2017.

Staff Sergeant Austin Leo Bieren, 25, of Umatilla, Oregon, was a U.S. Air Force airman serving with the 4th Space Control Squadron. He was killed in action in northern Syria on March 28, 2017.
